Hi's & Lo's

I've been wondering what to write for a week or so and then it hit me that I don't need to be perfect I just need to be forthcoming. I haven't had a brilliant thought in weeks. I've been too happy to think. I like to think I'm a decent writer but I'm shit without emotions. I've always pretended I had talent when in actuality I only had pain. I can't be happy and be creative, I'm not that talented. I choose happiness...

  4. Hmm I just have a hard one. Time that is. Plus I go through periods of self doubt and writing blocks of seemingly interminable time, but don't we all. Good to hear you are in a happy space though Mistopher Christopher.

  7. Christopher Robin,
Yay! I am happy at your being happy, Truly I am. I know, I haven't had any brilliant pain motivated thoughts my damn self! I am getting to find some happiness and joy also. How odd, is it, the world rains down little spells and jags of happy? A sudden gift no one truly-nor really deserves. I do miss seeing things here though....I do, but alas...I will wait. Smile on....Smile and laugh on....

  8. i agree, I seem to only be able to write when I am in a sorry state. However, the few lines above still speak to me, few as there may be... so I hope you laugh, and smile, and live in total and utter happiness, but that you can find a way to express that too. There is nothing more lovely than reading lines of happiness too :)

  12. I think what you just wrote is truth--which is writing in it's best form. But regardless, given an option: always always always choose happiness.

  13. I think its all about those bursts of spontaneity. At different moments. Rest all is relative.

  14. I know exactly what you mean. When I'm on an emotional high, I don't write as much or as well. Kind of annoying...but being happy is good too.
